Although most, if not all, religions are cruel to animals as an attempt to prove human's superiority, the three biggest monotheistic ones are particularly vicious, even more so jews and muslims who abid by kosher and halal guidelines, where they are "forced" to murder the animal while she/he is still fully conscious, and let him/her bleed.

This is what a deity commands, and so I shall forever defy god.
